1. Compression Set

This formation of the seal line is very necessary because it is the only way one will be able to determine that the right amount of pressure and squeeze is exerted on the O-Ring.

3.     Abrasion

  • Try to buy the O-Ring with a material whose abrasion resistance is high.
  • Make sure that the lubrication provided by the fluid system is functioning correctly in required limits.
